LOG 237-B
INITIATE PROJECT TERRACOTTA-PART 7

OBJECTIVE: ARMAGEDDON AND RAGNAROK FACE OFF/EVALUATION

PROJECT DOCTOR/HEAD HANNIBAL PRESIDING

DOCTOR THOMAS SEXTUM RECORDING

Doctor Fischer (Hannibal) is overseeing this phase of the project.  As TERRACOTTA progresses this is the first time he's taken a first person interest in the mercenaries after the capture and operation on them.   The man is a genius, but still he gives me the creeps.  Always busying himself with...well whatever he does in his personal lab and getting intel on some woman, but still it's good he's actually here for this.   Saves me the trouble of writing a report for him on the actions.

Projects ARMAGEDDON and RAGNAROK have shown incredible results in the field taken on whatever targets they've been assign from covert ops to raids on enemy camps to the elimination of armor targets, they've achieved 100% success.  The only downfall is that the two seem to butt heads plenty in both missions and downtime/training.  No records show of any previous history in the "real" world, but Hannibal logs that the two have opposite personalities and leadership/combat styles.  RAGNAROK or Guass (Steven Reynolds) shows compassion for his soldiers.  Following the teachings that standard military teach in leadership he follows the "never leave a fallen comrade behind".  ARMAGEDDON or Butcher (Liam Constantine) is a getting the mission done by any means at the sacrifice of his men.  Basically only caring for himself.  The two styles have led to controversy on the battlefield.    As stated the two butt heads and have a huge need to best one another in competition.

Today's session will pit the two in full CQC combat.  The two will be pitted in a two hour long session as the first hour will have 30 minutes of standard combat and the next thirty fighting with surprise melee.  The next hour Hannibal wants to test their new elemental augments.  The team has stated that their is need for further trial runs, but Hannibal feels now is the time.  The elemental will be set to 50% max, but with Hannibal that number is prone to change.

RESULTS:

SESSION 1:
As thought in my previous entry the two are indeed evenly matched.  Subject Guass' biomechnical arms have proven effective his internal power core is functioning perfectly.  Subject Butcher's replacement cerebral matter has grafted nicely, but has also increased his level of rage as subject has already had a problem in the past with his temper.  Both subjects' stims and generic augments have proven successful and ready for clinical trial in other mercenary subjects.  Fight itself was amusing with superior demonstration of past knowledge of melee combat weaponry and the newly installed subject matter.

SESSION 2:
As stated at the beginning I feared that the elemental powers needed further trial and this fight was no exception.  Thank God for the fail safe as the two would have destroyed each other.  Still this was an interesting fight.  The augments itself proved successful, but the two need a better power core to sustain themselves.  Their cores now can last them, but only for about four years tops not factoring in combat time and usage.  This problem will be addressed in their final upgrades.  Any longer the two probably would have killed each other, but thank God for the fail safe.

END RESULTS:
More data needed as stated by Hannibal, but the good doctor feels that he will have need of the two instead of only one for his final results.  Both will be put into clinical trials for improvements on their existing problems and strengths.

On a side note...Hannibal.  His grin is one creepy fucking thing to see.  If I didn't know any better I'd say he's got other plans.  Even during the fight he'd get intel and updates on that woman...need to look into who she is and what he's up to...
Guass and Butcher's trial runs...
